CNCO is Latin music’s newest phenomenon. This group emerged
towards the end of 2015 from Univision’s musical competition, La Banda,
where thousands of enthusiastic teens auditioned in various locations
around the continental United States and Puerto Rico.
At the conclusion of this 13-week TV show, only five contestants were
able to achieve their goal of joining CNCO: Christopher, Erick, Joel,
Richard and Zabdiel. They won over millions of viewers, along with the
renowned judges: Ricky Martin, Laura
Pausini and Alejandro Sanz.
Winning a spot in this band came with the tremendous reward of a
recording contract with Sony Music US Latin and a management deal with
Ricky Martin and ZZinc Group.
In early 2016, Ricky Martin invited them to open his “One World Tour”
through Latin America, where they performed in Puerto Rico, Argentina
and Chile; undoubtedly, making this their greatest moment to date.
Shortly after, CNCO did a promo tour in
Ecuador where they were greeted by tens of thousands of fans that call
themselves #CNCOwners, causing a frenzy at each place they visited.
CNCO has been working non-stop in the studio preparing for their first
album, which was produced by the renowned urban artist Wisin. Their
first single Tan Fácil, which was released towards the end of January
2016, immediately gained the #1 position on iTunes only hours after its
release. Two months later, CNCO surprised their fans by releasing a
remix of Tan Fácil featuring Wisin which went straight to #1
on Billboard’s Latin Charts in the U.S. making this a huge
accomplishment for the band.
In addition, the much-anticipated second single Quisiera hit the
airwaves in early June 2016, followed by the video produced by the
renowned Carlos Perez, which immediately gathered millions of views.
CNCO’s debut album will be available on all platforms this August 2016
including several
collaborations and songs that according to industry experts are
expected to be among the greatest hits of 2016.
CNCO will perform at La Banda Season 2. This summer, they will be
touring U.S., Latin America and Spain promoting their debut album.
Later this fall, the band will continue touring with Ricky Martin for
the last leg of his “One World Tour” in Latin America. Description
